The training course aim to strengthen democratic resilience through education in Europe. The course aim to strengthen teacher’s confidence in addressing controversial issues, the ability to open the classroom for various opinions and ideas, and concrete approaches to how to place the teaching of issues connected to hate, radicalization, and extremism in the context of democratic citizenship and Human Rights. The training course will offer opportunities to share and co-create teaching and learning materials adapted to the school realities in Northern and Western European countries.

It aims to strengthen capacity in citizenship and human rights education; introduce and promote the latest Council of Europe approaches and tools in citizenship and human rights education and contribute to the development of a professional pool of trainers in teacher training in Romania.
